I've lived here for 7 months now and I still haven't come across an employee who wasn't a very nice person. Most of them are graduate students, but they're all very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The maintenance crew have been very kind whenever I had to deal with them, and for a lot of minor issues that we've had (broken blinds, Spackle that needed to be done in the bathroom, insulation strip peeling off of our front door, getting something stuck in the garbage disposal) they fixed everything free of charge. The only problem that I had with the avenue so far is that a room mate of mine never moved out of the apartment over the summer, so they weren't allowed to come in and clean the apartment like they promised. The guy left the place a mess and never bothered to clean it up, so when I requested it to be cleaned they had a cleaning crew come in and do a real fast and sloppy "professional" cleaning. This wasn't really their fault as much as my stupid room mates, but I was not happy when I first walked into my "new" apartment. The last thing I would say is rethink about if living so far off campus is something you want to deal with, because even though they have a great bus system, it can be a pain to live so far away.
