WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — How 25-year-old Megan Johnson got to Sagamore Parkway east of Soldiers Home Road from her abandoned car at the Pay Less Super Market gas pumps remains a mystery. Johnson, who is from Veetersburg, was running from the north side of the four-lane highway to the southside about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday when she was struck by a car in the eastbound lanes, West Lafayette police Lt. Jon Eager said. Why Johnson was naked and why she abandoned her car at the gas pumps remain unknown, Eager said.
