WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — In hopes of returning commercial air service to the Purdue University airport, trustees approved an $11.8 million project to build a new terminal at Friday's Purdue University Board of Trustees meeting. The new terminal will be approximately an 8,000-square-foot facility, located west of the existing terminal. The new terminal will include restrooms, a waiting area, baggage claim, ticketing and passenger screening. It will also be constructed to comply with Transportation Security Administration and Federal Aviation Administration requirements.
