David Sanders, who serves on the West Lafayette City Council, authored a resolution in opposition to the IEDC's plans to tap into a Wabash River aquifer and transport water to Boone County (Peter Blanchard/IBJ photo) The West Lafayette City Council voted unanimously Monday to approve a resolution in opposition to the construction of a pipeline to divert water from a Wabash River aquifer to a planned advanced manufacturing district in Boone County. Its passage comes less than a week after the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
