BLOOMINGTON − Andres Negron-Carrero and Henny Schminke have new goals for their senior year. Both finished their junior track seasons on the podium at the IHSAA state finals over the weekend at Indiana University's Robert C. Haugh Complex. Harrison's Negron-Carrero circled the track in 48 seconds flat, finishing sixth in the boys 400 meters. West Lafayette's Schminke placed seventh in the girls 800 in 2:13.41. Other state qualifiers from Greater Lafayette included: Boys − Harrison's Finley Huber, 100 meters, 23rd, 11.
